Fence Banners
Custom printed and properly sized fence banners are a perfect way to advertise a business or convey any announcement or message outdoors!
Best of all, any fence material, from wire mesh, wooden picket style fencing, simple lattice, to even tall privacy fencing, these vertically erected structures are one of the more suitable outdoor locations to hang vinyl banners.
Think about it! Fences are found everywhere. Their primary use is to cordon off an area in order to prevent entry within a perimeter, and they are more often than not, situated alongside highly trafficked roadways and pedestrian walking paths.
From schools, parking lots, to construction sites and festivals, fencing is most likely what separates the property from the roadways and thoroughfares, so it should be evident that hanging banners on fences within close proximity to heavily trafficked areas is bound to get noticed and be a highly effective outdoor advertising location.

Should I Visit The Location of The Fenced Area Before Creating My Banner?
One should definitely visit the fence's location prior to creating the banner you want to use to ensure your banner is customized, sized and designed for maximum exposure. For example, the distance between your banner and your intended target audience will dictate the size your banner needs to be.
We suggest measuring and taking full advantage of the entire height of the fence you will be installing your banner. The overall height will also help you specify a good proportional width for your banner. Taking advantage of the fence's height and ensuring your banner's width will ensure your message gets noticed by your audience.
Keep Your Design Simple and Avoid Using The Same Colors As The Fence or the Area.
We strongly recommend not using the fence's color for the background color of your banner. If the fence you intend to mount your banner on is White, we suggest using a different background color for your banner to ensure your banner stands out.
If the fence is a see thru chain link fence, keep the environmental colors seen through the fence in mind to ensure your banner's background is in clear contrast. The more contrast in color you can give between the fence, the surroundings, and your banner, the more visible your banner will be perceived and the more effective your message will be delivered.
How To Properly Install Your Fence Banner
By default, we place metal grommets every two feet in the construction of your banner to ensure each fence banner eSigns makes can be easily installed.
For chain mesh fencing and lattice fence material where gaps between slats are evident, zip ties are the preferred banner fasteners we suggest. For privacy fences and other types of fencing made of wood where gaps are not evident, we suggest using longer fasteners such as rope or bungee cords in order to secure your banner to the fence's mounting posts that are evident every six to eight feet.
Although one can use nails or screws to install a banner, we do not suggest this method for fencing, as the nails and screws can damage the fence.
Why You Should Stay Away From Pre-configured banners for Fences
Customized Banners are always best, because every fence location will dictate certain customizations like size, letter height, and design elements that should be use to maximize exposure. Cookie cutter pre-made banners cannot take these design factors, environmental conditions, and the style or type of fence your banner will mounted to into consideration. This is why a pre-made fence banner is simply not the ideal solution.
