Durable Metal Signs for Withstanding Harsh Weather

Durability is the most important factor to consider in printing metal signs. It’s crucial that it your signs are able to withstand and stay resilient in different weather conditions. These signs are constructed with high quality Wrisco brand aluminum that we offer in either .040 or .080 (18 or 12 gauge) thickness. These signs are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It is weather resistant and will not rust even when exposed to sunlight, snow, or rain.

Installation and Care Instructions

eSigns' metal signs are easy to install. These can be hung on a wall or placed in a frame. If you would like to permanently screw it on a wall, it comes pre-drilled for your convenience.

Prepare your tools. Ready your protective goggles, power drill with drill bit or a screwdriver, screws (or nuts, bolts, and washers), and a marker or pen.

Dry-fit your metal sign and using a marker or pen, mark the spots where you’ll need to place the screws.

Align the metal sign to marked spots and slowly start drilling the screws in. Only drill midway for all the holes.

Take a step back to double check if alignment is correct.

Finish drilling the screws in place.

Metal signs last a long time but must be regularly maintained in order for it to look good as new. After-care is easy and takes no time at all.

Use a clean rag to lightly wipe away dust from the signage. Carefully do this to avoid scratching the metal surface. Continue wiping until free from dirt and debris.

Fill a small bucket with your cleaning solution of choice. The simplest recipe is 1 bucket of warm water with 1 cup of liquid dish soap and 1 cup of white vinegar. You can use other cleaning solutions, such as glass cleaners or isopropyl alcohol.

Dip a clean cloth rag in the solution and wring off the excess water.

Gently wash the metal sign using the wet rag. Take care not to be to abrasive as to not scratch the metal surface. Reapply the cleaning solution as needed.

Once done, pat dry with a clean cloth.
